FastLube, Inc. operates as Flagship FastLube and Flagship Express Car Wash and was established as a corporation in Hawaii in 1992. Retired United States Naval Officer, Mr. Ricky E. Price, founded the company and is the current Chairman of the Board and 92% majority stockholder. His son, Christopher Price has been with the company from the beginning and currently serves as President, Chief Operating Officer, and stockholder. Recently Mr. Ricky’s son Brandon came on board as Director of Car Wash Operations.

The company is made up of six (6) Flagship FastLube facilities with locations in Wahiawa, Kapolei, Waipio Gentry, Aiea, Royal Kunia, and Pearl City, all of which specialize in preventative maintenance services for cars and light trucks. In addition to these services, the facilities act as an Express Dealer for Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly tires. In 2017 the company serviced over 100,000 vehicles, and each of the shops performs in the top 1% of an industry of more than 17,000 similar providers.

In June 2018 the company celebrated the construction of a four million dollar Flagship Express Car Wash in Waipio Gentry. This is the first of its kind in the state of Hawaii and is equipped to provide a superior wash at an affordable price. This car wash is built to function at a high capacity and is capable of washing more than 120 cars per hour or more than one thousand cars per day.

Mr. Price and his company have continuously been recognized as an industry leader for nearly three decades. Mr. Price stays active with the internationally recognized Automotive Oil Change Association (AOCA) and the International Car Wash Association (ICA) and has published many of the procedures, directives and training programs for the industry, and personally trained and certified more than 2,500 fast lube managers for the AOCA.

In 2010 Mr. Price brought the fast lube ZipPit technology to Hawaii at the company’s Aiea location and built another ZipPit facility in Pearl City in 2012. This technology is not only superior in its environmental and ergonomic techniques, but its also convenient in the financial realm—perhaps the most attractive quality is that it provides a more efficient and safer work environment.

The company and Mr. Price have received various recognitions from the State of Hawaii, The Small Business Administration, the United States Congress and the President of the United States for their proactive efforts in training and moving individuals from government subsidies and dependency to productive employment.

As Flagship continues to grow, they are not only bringing quality jobs, they’re also providing valuable training and benefits for all employees and an unparalleled service record for tens of thousands of Oahu customers which makes it a truly first-class experience.

The company plans to continue its’ growth on Oahu to include additional FastLube facilities and Express Car Washes.
